Default Zonte's Footstep

Back last spring or even in the winter months Pollensa came up with this South Eastern Australian Cabernet Sauvignon and at the time it was on offer half price £4.49 instead of £8.99 in Sainsbury's.

I remember trying it and if correct Jane could not get it from her own sources.

I mention it today as I saw it on the exact same offer in Somerfield and there is a ZF Chardonnay on same offer.

Worth a try guys?

Sip it, close your eyes, and imagine you are in your favourite Mallorquin restaurant!

Hi Portofan!

Still haven't managed to track down the Zonte's Footstep but may go and have a look this weekend.

I would still love to try it even though sadly, I am TT at the moment! Three days and counting and I even had a headache this morning despite not touching a drop!

How unfair is that!

Obviously withdrawal symptoms!

Keep on drinking and have one for me!

Jane

Default Zontes Footsteps

Hi Jane, we enjoyed a lovely bottle of Spanish wine tonight whilst out for a meal it was called something like Somantano, really enjoyed it, shame we can't remember the exact name, thought it may ring a bell with you!:eek :b

Hi Lady Pollenca!

We enjoyed a delicious Enate Cabernet Sauvignon from Somontano in Le Font del Gall.

Somontano is a region near to the French border and is not one of the most well-known regions of Spain, but quality is improving there and I'm sure that we will be seeing more wines from this region appearing.

I'm glad you enjoyed!
Jane
