Hello - first post newbie.

One to avoid (sorry to be negative on post 1) - There is an email about a discount at Threshers. It claims to be a leaked discount code. In fact they do this "leak" each year themselves and the discount is only equivalent to that which can be gained elsewhere. So do act on it if you come across it, but as the Yanks say - do the math. It may not be a better deal than anyone else's and the range/choice at Threshers is certainly more limited than other retailers.

Hope that's useful.

Useful tip - if you are ever visiting the UK and staying in rented accommodation, you can arrange for one of the online supermarkets to deliver. You can choose your shopping and book/pay before you leave but they will deliver at the time you specify. So why not order for a few hours after you are due to arrive. have your first meal at a bar and then make sure you're "in" to collect your groceries from the nice delivery man! OnlineGroceryStore has the details.
