Default VEO Grande 2003

Buenas tardes Senora Jane!

Ayer mi compleanos!

Un regalo de la hermana de Sherryfan y su marido!

Mama mia I cannoto go ono with this any moreio!

Cabernet Shiraz from Chile 13% and lightly oaked.

Comes from a vineyard of the Errazuriz family.

Absolutely excellent with our delicious sirloins on a bed of mash with some sweet potato introduced to the mash and some lightly fried onions.

And then no less -in an own up mode, a bottle of Bardolino.

Reminded us of when we "sinned" another time and had an exquisite Pizza with Bardolino in the town of Bardolino on Lake Garda.

Well I could not say all that in Spanish Senora could I but I am learning.

Adios for the momento!

Porto

Sounds good, El Portofano!!

Where is it from?

I chanced my luck with some Errazuriz last week - just hope it doesn't let me down!

Regards
Jane

I see this is one huundred aaand eeeeeeeiiiiighty!

Hi Jane!

You must have been confused last night OK!

I wrote" Good evening Senora Jane

Yesterday was my birthday

A present from Sherryfan's sister and her husband".

Compiled from a phrase book.

As it was a present don't know but suspect possibly a large Tesco or maybe an independent somewhere. Fairly plain cream coloured label , diamond shaped with the words "VEO Grande" and below "The finest expression of Chile" then a small label lower down saying"Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Shiraz lightly Oaked "

Best of luck!

And I wasn't told off for skipping over to Italy!

Thank you Jane.

Hadn't noticed you were about!

No my Spanish is not good. Joined up out of the phrase book. I will be very fluent in about 20 years!

Regards

Portofan

PS Who can help Hiker Biker about the best Paella in town? I'm not a Paella fiend.
