Question Mooring in Port

Other than searching via the Pollensa Yatch Club web site does anyone please have a contact (email address preferred) in respect of finding information regarding costs/leasing a small mooring in the Port. I would also be pleased to receive any information (pros/cons) regarding leaving a boat in the Port.
I have a preference for leaving my boat in the Port as I can walk there from the apartment however I would consider Bonaire or Baccalares if anyone has positive comments regarding these marinas.

THANKYOU

Edit > I have now found out that the Yatch Club only administer the moorings past the barriers and all their berths are 10m + ..... the area I am interested in is the mooring areas adjacent Restaurant Llonja and the covered taxi rank as there are a stack of small boats/RIBs berthed in that area ~ anyone any idea who to contact?

Edit 2 > Years and years waiting list (700 people) for 'La Lonja' and Baccares Marinas (same Port administrators). Bonaire smallest berths are 1300 euro pa !!!! or 20,000 euro for 9 year lease. Free to moor on floating buoy at Llenaire but insured/registered need to 'drop' boat in water at approx 50 euro. Contact me by PM if you want details of Simon or if you know anyone who offers this service.

We have friends who are coming over for two weeks in July. They have a 40m yacht which they're going to sail from Palma to PP and they want to moor it off a buoy in the port. Thier absolutely ideal solution would be a buoy off the Illa D'Or. Does anyone know if these are available for weekly rental? If so, who should they contact?

I know Simon at Aurora is the kind of person who would know, but when I drove past his house a couple of weeks ago it looked very closed.

Any help or advice would be very gratefully received.

Thanks

As I understand it to tie up to a buoy by the Illa D'or is FOC - if one is available. Your friends should also check that the chain from the concrete block to the buoy is secure as the chains move/rust and often detach themselves from their concrete blocks.

I recently sent an email to Simon (via his web site) and he replied within a couple of days.

Grateful if you find my information wrong if you could post here.

Just back and checked on the buoy situation outside Illa D'Or. Apparently the buoys are illegal however everyone turns a blind eye to them as they have been present in the area outside of the hotel for years. Most have been placed by boat owners in the flats behind the hotel. Understand it is sometimes difficult to find a vacant one in August. There is no cost as they are privately 'owned' - best to tie up and see if the person who has placed (if they are there) raises any objection ~ if so move onto the next vacant one. An alternative is just to drop anchor or take your own mooring buoy.

sorry for late reply but have just seen this
I rent a small mooring in the port every year from April to September if you email me I will give you my number and will gladly talk you through the procedure its not expensive around 600 euros from April to sept. but not easy to get but I will help you with all the details I will be in PP from 20th July till early September. With regards to the mooring at Illador these are Illegal ( I used to own one) they are clamping down and writing tickets and placing them on the boats I would strongly not recommend using one specially as the ones there belong to boat owners who get quite angry when they arrive at there Buoy to find another boat on it there are some Buoys a little further out by the lighthouse if they have a tender they can use to get in to the port.
If you need help or more info please feel free to email me @ productworksuk@btinternet.com
