Default off road cycling around PP

Hi some friends and I are coming to PP for a long weekend at the end of oct could anyone sugest any cross country rides we could do we are regular mountain bikers living in North Wales so not put off by hills or mountains . Also what weather can we expect, so we can bring suitable clothing, and will there be any bars open Have been to PP before but with family in summer and a while back.
Thanks for any help you can give
James

Default just back

Hi just back from our weekend in puerto pollensa had a great time weather good apart from thunder storm sat evening loved the resort very quiet with good eating places. Went on ride off road to monestery in lluc very good ride loads of excellent views and a good insight to local life, went on road ride to Cap formentor on second day fantastic dramatic views and plenty of exercise would recomend it as a place to go cycling on or off road will be returning

Default Off road to Lluc

Hi Jimbob, have you got more details of the off road ride up to Lluc. We've done it a couple of times on the road out of season but it gets a bit hair raising when the road is busy. Is the route well marked and is it a lot further than the road route?

Default of road to lluc

Hi the route is a lot longer than the road as it zig zags up the mountain some short carry your bike bits you need a mountain bike with good grip not a beginers route fairly easy to follow with a map would recomend full suss for return to pollenca we came back on road .The of road starts about 5 km from the roundabout at pollenca left fork with woden sign with map showing route at the end of road you go right up the hill though woden gate have to push or carry up first 200mts route fairly easy to follow till near end there is a well were you have to carry again for about 100mts you come out by an education centre you can turn left and do a loop that brings you out below Lluc or do as we did turn right and join the road just above Liuc the views are fantastic we had acorns falling on our helmets at the start met some locals who had been colledting fungi saw two eagles and really enjoyed the day.
