Default Finca Planicie

A good distance from PP, but I hope someone may be able to help. We visit PP twice a year, and some of the mountain walking is getting steeper each year. We are always on the lookout for good walks that are a little less demanding, and recently came across a reference to Finca Planicie, near Estellencs. We are happy to go that far afield in search of good walking, but have still not got a clear idea of what it is like. Is anyone familiar with it? In particular, is it easy to park? And what kind of walking is involved? We are fine to do 8-10k, provided it is not severe climbing, and would welcome advice on whether it would be worthwhile heading off down there for the day.

Am afraid we've never walked it but it looks interesting - we're always keen to find new walks that are not too difficult.

I found this information:

https://www.illesbalears.travel/tour...state-planicia (in English)

Espacios Naturales Protegidos-Finca pública de Planícia (in Castellano - Spanish)

And the there are PDFs for the 3 routes mentioned here:

Espais Naturals Protegits-Publicacions dels espais naturals protegits

and in fact PDFs of lots of interesting brochures!

The shorter walk brochure is in English "Itinerari de les cases de Planícia" - 3Km but links up with the other routes.

Hope that helps!

Many thanks. The last link was particularly useful. I would still welcome personal experience of anyone who has been there.
