Default Mulligans Meanderers

"..These feet were made for walking and that's just what they'll do..."

The Mulligans staff / team want to set up a very informal walking club starting this month.

The idea is to meet every Thursday morning at 11.00am at the pub, all welcome and do a different walk each week. This would start with a very simple trek and work upwards.

Some walks will require a packed lunch and some, such as the walk to
Cala Sant Vicente, will have a halfway point if people want to stop for refreshments.

It is just for fun and a great way to get fit and healthy whilst exploring the local area.

If there is enough interest, the group could go to other parts of the island and get to know them, in addition to our own Puerto Pollensa.

Potential walking routes :
Boquer Valley
Cala Sant Vicente
Formentor
Puig De Maria
Cami Vell De Lluc

The above are only a rough proposal and the more input the better in terms of recommending other treks.

So that is the idea, it is just for fun, so anyone interested, pop into the pub or contact us here on the Forum or Facebook Page - Mulligans Bar Puerto Pollensa - in the initial instance.

Just wondered how it went, on your Boquer and other rambles??

How did it go? Was it successful?

Hi El Gordo & all....walks have been brilliant. Luckily the weather has held up. Walks to Cala St Vicente, Boquer Valley, Puig de Maria have all been challenging in their own way but we are a very determined Mulligans Team and have conquered the challenges so far. Although turn out has been no more than 5 people, we intend to grow this organically....after all it is just a bit of fun !

I can see this being popular in the spring and early summer if you carry on then as well!

Very impressed. PP to Pollensa and up Puig Maria then down and back to PP, excellent.

I enjoy walking and that one would tax me! May have to join in sometime.
