No problem I'll let you know when I burn it.
But I still want even more tracks and even better more stories that go with them.
cheers.

Listening to Brian Wilson from Glastonbury: the Beach Boys have to the epitome of summer music. Remember listening to Good Vibrations in Malta staying with a school pal whose dad was Commander of REME out there: lying on cold marble after a hot day out listening to those cool sounds.
And Crosby Stills Nash (saw them last night): Love the one you're with - probably from beach parties in the Channel Islands early 70s...
Playing Otis Redding Sitting on the Dock on the Bay on a campsite in south of France on the kids Fisher Price tape player, only music machine we had...
there, you have a few more!

For starters this compilation is missing two sublime tracks both from the same album:- 'Here Comes the Sun', and 'Sun King' from the Beatles Abbey Road disc. Then there's the fun hit from Supergrass that allways makes me smile - 'Feel Allright'. Jamiroquai have included on their new album 'Dynamite' the beautiful 'Seven Days in Sunny June' (shame there's only two days left to go!) Turn up the heat with Funkstar Deluxe and Bob Marley's 'Sun is Shining' and finally chill out with the Happy Mondays' Holiday / Harmony...bring it on!!!

It's early evening and the heat is leaving the day. The pinkish velvet is enfolding the mountains across the bay; G&T in hand, ice quietly clinking;

It has to be Albatross by Fleetwood Mac

Hi Rob!

Hot on the heels of my "Chilled Out" recommendations come two more for the happy, sunny music CD.

They are:

Louis Armstrong - We Have All The Time In The World

Roy Ayers - Everybody Loves The Sunshine

(Both from my album - The Very Best of Smooth Jazz)

Mmmmmm! Listening to them now!!

Wish the sun was shining though!

Regards
Jane

Thanks for the tracks Jane, They are great!.
Dean martin had a few happy tunes that I love to listen to on a sunny day. That's Amore & Hey brother pour the wine.
The Mavericks: Dance the night away & Here Comes My Baby (sad words but both songs get my feet tapping).
Keep them comming folks :lol .

crowded House: Weather With You. Has this been Suggested already?. This track reminds me of driving to my favorite beach (Bamburgh, Northumberland) for the first of many sunny visits after a cold bleak winter.
I'm still looking for more before we choose the favorite tracks. So come on let us know your favorite and why.

Rob anything by Crowded House and I'm a happy bunny! Also Best of Cafe del Maor especially Entre dos Aguas and Tatouage Bleu - this reminds me of last Summer when we were staying in a villa in the Pollensa countryside. This cd was playing when we had friends round for a BBQ and the sun was setting over the mountains...Mmmmm bliss! Oh and the Lighthouse Family that's good chilling music.

How are you going to decide which to choose?..p'raps you could make a series like the NOW cd's!
