Thank you for your story too I and I'm sure the rest of us enjoy reading about why you picked a track.
Thanks again Penny.

I was lying in bed at 05:50 this morning waiting for my alarm to go off just looking at the beautiful sky through my bedroom window. All thoughts of getting up and going to work were the last thing on my mind. Day dreaming of sunny days in PP when Radio 2 comes on and it's Cream and I feel free.
What a nice start to my day. I walked the 4 miles to work along a disused (but soon to be re-instated :\ ) railway line which over the years has become a nature reserve and is packed with wildlife, listening to the bird song. And "I feel free" still in my head.
Makes coming to work a pleasure.
Can I have some more sunny happy tracks to add to the CD please?.

Hello Rob!!

On the way back from France today we listened to Dire Straits and their classics - Tunnel of Love and Telegraph Road (the very looong versions!!)

Brilliant to sing along to as we sped around the good old M25!!

But I have just had a thought - what about "Twisting By the Pool"??

Always gets my feet tapping!!

Regards
Jane

Hello Rob!

Whilst tackling a huge pile of ironing this morning I listened to VH1.

Dancing to music is very hard when you're ironing but I did note these for your Summer CD:

The La's - There She Goes
U2 - Beautiful Day
REM - Shiny Happy People.

Hope they pass muster!!

Regards
Jane

'Being nobody' by liberty x is excellent,it was done originally by someone years ago,but i have forgotten,it goes
Aint nobody loves me better, makes me happy makes me feel this way,do you know the one, definately happy music,oh and how about 'Just alittle' by Liberty X as well,if any body remembers those lyrics, sexy, everything about you's so sexy,i had a partial knee replacement nearly three years ago and while i was in the hospital,my wondeful daughters thought it hilarious to sing it to me while i was wandering about with the lovely white post op stockings on,so now when ever we hear this song,we think its highly amusing, its also good summer singing, especially after a few glasses.

Hello Tresspass

I think the song you mentioned was originally recorded by Chaka Khan.

If it is that one I was about 14/15 years old at the time and had a massive crush on one of the PE Teachers at school!!:rollin

I still like the song to this day and it brings back some happy school memories!!

Jane
