There is a skyscanner search box at the top of the 'flights' forum - see Flights to Palma de Mallorca, Majorca - Pollensa Forum

With regards transfer, we went with resorthoppa last time out and they took us from the airport directly to the hotel and vice versa, hope it helps.

Resorthoppa are very good but if you book a private apartment then they will only take you to the nearest large hotel or apartment block, there are some others Transunion the Mallorquin bus company also run a shuttle service but they do the same. If there are 4 or more of you sometimes a taxi can be nearly as cheap and more direct. I have sometimes used Condi Taxis (Jose) who advertise on this site, they speak English and are very reliable.

Well I am now able to tell you all that I have, with all your wonderful help, bin and gone and dunnit!!!

I have booked an apartment for the exact dates - Sunday for 12 nights - in the exact part of town I wanted, and thanks to Easylife's suggestion of flying from Blackpool, got reasonable flights for a reasonable price. I live in Cumbria and most people I know fly from Newcastle. Everyone is now going to flood Blackpool - 'Why didn't we think of that?'

I've also only just found out that I am able to get free unlimited travel insurance with one of my bank accounts, so another revelation.

The only thing left is the resorthopper to book. Does it run 24 hours, because we get into Palma around 10pm, and by the time we've cleared the airport, it will be 11-ish. Is it easy to find? Oh, and one last thing, what do you think the chances are of getting food/drink in PP around midnight to celebrate start of wooohoooo time in our favourite place?!?

Thanks everyone for all your help - you've been great and started me off on a Great Adventure!

WELL DONE JAZZY - B !!!! I hope everything goes smoothly and you have a great holiday. Resorthoppa operate around the clock in the summer months . Book via the internet well before you go and just report to their desk which is in the arrivals area close to the baggage reclaim area. They often give Resorthoppa promotional codes via this website which will save you a few more quid or you might just want to get it booked and have done.

Default Who to Choose

Jazzy - B

I would have never suggested Blackpool Airport if I knew you were going to tell everyone else in Cumbria!!. Seriously, I hope you find it as stress free as we do - make sure you read Clinkham's advice about parking on the 'Flights' thread. He's right about the friendliness of the staff too. I've never been to Newcastle Airport, I can only compare it with Manchester and it's nothing like Manchester, thank God. I hope you like it and I hope you have a great holiday.
