Default Sun4u gone bust

I see another holiday company has gone bust - SUN4U.
Has anyone on here booked a holiday with them?
I think they specialise in Spain and Majorca.

I heard that they had gone under yesterday but I didn't recognise them as a key provider of Mallorca holidays. Hopefully no-one here is affected?

Angry sun4u gone bust

We always book our flights and accommodation separately on the internet. We stayed at the Eolo in June this year and usually book via Alpha Rooms but booked through sun4u this time just because they were a few pounds cheaper. Big mistake! They were hopeless, our online confirmation didn't have the correct room details on it - I booked a twin room with balcony and sea view, bed and breakfast but the confirmation didn't specify sea view and was for room only, no b & b. It took me 10 days to speak to an actual living person at sun4u and to get them to provide a confirmation with the correct details. Even then they said they couldn't guarantee a sea view. I emailed Carlos at the Eolo to explain what had happened and he made sure we got our sea view room. I said I would never book with them again and if my experience was typical of their customer service I say good riddance to bad rubbish although I do feel very sorry for their customers stranded abroad or who have lost their holidays still to come. I hope their experience of contact with sun4u is better than ours - I visualise deserted offices with callers trapped in a circle of very customer unfriendly telephone answering machine messages
