Supermarkets
 

Hi staying on the Pine Walk next month and would like to do a bit more self catering this year, normally I just stick to local supermarkets like the Voramar but as we will have a car for part of the time would like to do a bigger shop at perhaps Hiper-Centro, would somebody be able to give me directions please from the Pine Walk? many thanks.

It isn't possible to give you full directions because it depends on where your car is parked (obviously not on the Pine Walk) but Hyper-Centro is situated near the C/Joan XX111 end of C/Vicenc Buades on the right, remember this is a one-way road going from the sports center towards C/Joan XX111.

Thanks for that Sparky but just so I can get my bearings as to where the shop is, if I was to walk am I right in thinking it is at the back of the resort up towards the new road, I really can't remember seeing it but I tend to find my way around by idendifying places as to where they are in relation to hotels and bars, I need to get to know the road names really.

If you are walking i would say go to the square, facing the church, take the road that runs up on the left, cross the road (C/Roger De Flor) keep heading up to the next junction, turn left into C/Vicenc Buades, cross over and walk past the shops, keep walking, you will pass the restaurant La Roca, at the end of that block is a shop called Milar selling electrical goods and Hyper-Centro is on the opposite corner, it has a small car park beside it :).

On Thursday 2nd August the supermarkets and some of the shops will be closing at 2pm.

This Friday 12th October is a national holiday, the supermarkets will be open 9am til 2pm, the banks and some shops will be closed all day.
