Hi Chalks,
We have bought beach towels before rather than pack them as it saves the weight. There aer a couple of beach side shops selling towels from around 12-16 Euros. Not the highest quality but certainlygood enough for the beach etc. No doubt you could get themfor less if you haggle a little!

It's always worth having a look in the charity shop, you can sometimes buy them for a few euros and then you could pass them back at the end of your stay .

The markets full of them! We have bought them in the past when we have arrived at an apartment to find too few towels. You can usually pick up pretty lightweight ones for 6 - 10 euros. My mum got me the lightweight ones we have now and they are from Matalan.
