Hi Linda

It's held in the main square in the old town, the Placa Major. You won't miss it! The stalls in this square are mainly fruit and veg, but up the various side streets you'll find a whole load more selling all sorts of things. It starts around 8.30am and starts winding up around 1.00. It does get very crowded due to its popularity.

Default Sunday market in Pollena

Yes, as Jonsey says you can't miss it really - right on the main square near the church. And usually very busy too!

It's quite tricky to park anywhere in Pollensa on market day so if you are on the bus route, do try going there on the bus. It's a lot less stress.

There is also a smaller square which sells clothes, locally known as the nicker market!!, you get there by walking up the side road opposite the Giardino bakery and to the side of the Xarig perfume shop. Past the police station and you are there.

We find it very convenient to park at the large car park next to the "Large Cock" (excuse me!) roundabout. There is a pedestrian crossing and footpath taking you into town via the "Nicker" market, and from there its off left past the Police Station into the Main Square.

From the market, do explore the side streets leading to the foot of the Calvari Steps.... a must see panorama of the Cala San Vicente valley, PP and the Pollenca Bay. A second hidden viewpoint to the left gives a lovely view up the valley to Tomir and beyond.

If you are not able to climb the 365+ steps you can get to the top via the "Stations of the Cross" on foot or by car.

Really is worth spending a little extra time to explore Pollensa.

There is a lovely café/ice cream shop at the top and a lovely church to visit and often a guitarist to donate a few cents to sitting on the steps.

Enjoy your trip Linda.
