Default TV and Electronics

Hello Puerto People.. Long time reader, first time poster.

Looking for somewhere to buy a nice tv from, maybe some other gadgets. Either en route from Palma or in the Pollensa area itself. 2nd option is preferable. Obviously not looking to break the bank..

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Have always bought most of our big buys from Confort in the port. Really friendly, reliable and helpful.

We always buy locally and have used Confort, Milar and Reuss. They may be a little more expensive but provide free delivery and installation (provided the necessary services are in place) and if there should be a problem with anything they are close by, much easier than having to go to Palma.

Agree with service if you buy in the Port (if ever needed) but I tend to nip into Carrefour (next to the airport) on our way to bulk buy (water, pop etc) and purchase any large electrical items. Armed with a Carrefour card (similar to Nectar but offers cash incentive rather than points) you will find quite a saving on say a 37" plasma. You can view their products on line and look for deals on their weekly magazine.

We usually stop off at Alcampo and in the past over many years have bought many electrical goods there including tv's washing machines, dishwashers and even the oven!
Agree with SP that much saving can be made by buying from these large stores.
Not sure if you can access alcampo on the web but worth looking at Carrefour as SP suggests.

Both Carrefour & Alcampo have websites - see Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca Majorca - Shops, Markets
