Default filled baguettes

We are coming out in a couple of weeks and staying at the Sis Pins Hotel. Where can I buy filled baguettes to take away (ie to the beach )? Also I would like to go to Formentor, am I best to take food with me or can I buy it there?? Many thanks

The small supermarket around the corner, next to Corb Mari made us filled baguettes when we were out walking in March.

There is also a lovelly bakers just up from the Marina R/bout on Jaume XIII.

Plenty of choice

However You could make your own!!

There is a large cafe at Formentor where you can buy from a wide selection of food. It is top class but the prices are eye watering. I think it was about 3 euro for a plastic bottle of coke. If you can take your own stuff and keep it cold I would recommend you do this.

Adios

Baguettes and Company just behind Corb Mari, on the Formentor road, make great baguettes and toasties. Very reasonable prices and pleasant staff too.

Also "Al Fresco" 50 yards from the above location on the same road. Excellent freshly made baguettes and salads etc.

Just across the road from Sis Pins is the Store Formentor, Spar shop, on the corner of the Bellresguard complex. This year they have expanded the range of offerings. Full range of food to eat on site or to take away is available. Check it out on the left hand side of this page - Once you are there > Shopping and Markets > Store Formentor.
Previous posts advising the high costs of food and drink on Formantor Beach were an underestimate. They are astronomical !!!!
For the trip to Formentor beach, we usually try to get the first bus (at the stop by the rear entrance to Laguna, further along the Formentor Road from Store Formentor/Sis Pins. Returning via the ferry boat to PP rounds off a pleasant trip out.

Thanks for all the suggestions, this will be a big help. Clinkham just had a quick look at the bus timetables can you confirm it is the 353 I need to get to Formentor?

Many thanks
