Deanscroft, It sounds as though you're going to have something to celebrate and so fireworks will be a wonderful celebration. But why do you have to have "loud"? Won't the visual spectacle against the backdrop of sea or mountains, with only the low whooosh of the fireworks be just as spectacular? I'm afraid I think that loud fireworks are only a disturbance to those who may not, for whatever reason (sleeping children, early start, illness...) want to be disturbed. Hope you find fireworks and enjoy your celebration.

Regretably, for reasons I don´t start to understand, the need for `loud´fireworks was included in my original post but was edited out by the `censor´.

I would love to know the reason why they had to be loud. I thought perhaps you may have had noise locally which maybe had kept you awake and it was payback time! lol

Hope you find what you are looking for. Sorry I can't help you.

I believe Favie was not discussing football but referring to loud fireworks and their use of them. Therefore keeping to thread!

Kim, I can see why you thought that....I did too, until I paged down!(Thanks BTW)
Thought I was about to get my first yellow card.
Boys will be boys eh Sparky! I'm sure they are due a red card soon.
To keep it on thread.....I much prefer an organised firework dislpay that I believe they do very well in PP, (always seem to miss them!!) no need to buy your own.

The need for the loud fireworks as is suggeted by Favie. There is a 50% chance that on the evening of the 28th May the skys (and ears) of Spain will be filled with fireworks (legal or not)and I was just looking for the oportunity to join in.

There - and I didn´t mention football - oh s*** !!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to be a killjoy, but my poor dog is so disturbed by the really loud fireworks, I am talking now about in the UK. Lovely to look at but loud ones are a really pain. Have fun anyway.

Default LOUD fireworks

[QUOTE=Deanscroft;57411]Can anyone tell me where I can buy some very loud fireworks?

Unlike the UK, very loud fireworks are totally legal here, can be let off in the street, at any time of the year, by anyone over 18. You could buy them from the gunsmiths in Pollensa, but this closed down last year. As soon as i find out where you can now buy them, i will let you know. Surely buying loud fireworks here is just as relevant to P.P. as buying baby milk, etc. etc. etc?
