Smile Birthday cake

Hi everyone
I am looking for somewhere to get a birthday cake when I am over in May. I see some people mentioning Las Delicias - is that still a good place to get one? However, one problem, we arrive Saturday night and my husband's birthday is Monday - are they open Sunday, is there anyway I can order in advance? Please help......

Hi gilliand,
As well as Delices, there is the Pastilleria round the corner in Calle Levant. Their bread, croissants and ensaimadas are all excellent. they have a selection of wonderful looking cakes and pastries. Do check them out.

I managed to buy a nice cake from the pastelleria on the Joan XX111 without ordering. But note that they charge per Kilo.

It is on the corner across from El Meson which is just beside the petrol station, so it is a fair walk.
