Default Shopping for beachwear in PP

Well we are heading PP's way in April but as it's our first trip abroad in 8 years AND we live in Scotland we haven't a huge amount in the way of "summer" gear. I am just wondering whether to travel light and then buy a few essentials when I get to PP. Are there reasonably priced shops selling nice quality cotton t-shirts, light tops, beach shorts, hats etc. or is it all "boutique wear" (expensive!) or tourist tat ("I've been to PP and all I got was this T-shirt" vibe).

Obviously I am going to come with the basics (a good swimming costume or two, shorts etc.) but it would be good to know what's there. Another thing that occurred to me is are there any second-hand shops in PP (like charity shops rather than antiques) - do they do that sort of thing in Majorca or are they just a feature of every city's failing UK high street!

As i hate shopping i do all my clothes buying on-line, so i can't comment on prices in the shops here.
We do have 2 charity shops and my hubby has got some really good quality shirts and jumpers in them but i am told the Salvation Army Shop is set to close down at the end of the month which will be a shame. The Alan Graham shop seems to have a good selection though.

There are great shops locally! Not all of them are in one place like a shopping centre, but you will find reasonable "boutique" type shops along the pinewalk, and also a couple around the side streets, yes, some are a little expensive for when you want to spoil yourself, but there are always bargains to be found. Pollensa itself also has good clothes shops, as does Alcudia marina area. You do have to do a reasonable amount of walking though as I said. Even the Touristy type shops have a reasonable choice of not too touristy type beach wear.
Just make sure you leave yourself time to shop rather than "just popping out"!

I've just been updating the Holiday Shopping page of the website & have seen that the delivery charge for M & S to Spain has gone down to £7.50 - not bad at all - see Holiday Shopping - M & S

I can also vouch for Orthaheel sandals we feature - they're ever so comfortable. Am afraid I cannot walk far in heels (I have flat feet! )

Yes Zelda it is great that more and more high street stores are now delivering to Spain and the delivery charges are coming down some are even offering free delivery on orders over certain amounts. Littlewoods are particularly good and very quick, i have had goods delivered in just a few days.
