Where can I place a bet on the geegees?

Just wondered if anyone knows where I can put a bet on the gee gees in PP?

Don't like on line betting cos it's too easy to get carried away and have run into what I thought were bookies runners a couple of times in bars in the past.

With all the great races coming up between now and the late summer just wondered how some of you more residential folk do it?

Hi BL there are 2 bars that i know of where you can place bets, they phone them through to Rob the Bookie who has been doing this for years. JK's is the nearest one for you and then there is Roy's (across the road from Ikebana in Gommar) but i will try to find out if there are any others.

Well BL i followed your advice and had a flutter with Rob the Bookie, "Sparky May" romped home........................10 lengths behind the winner .
But all was not lost......i did an each way bet .
