Thumbs down Beware - Hair Braiding shop on pinewalk

Having recently returned from Puerto Pollensa I wanted to make people aware of the hair braiding/henna tatoo shop on the pinewalk.

My daughter had her hair braided (the 15 E option) and it started to come loose so we went back to the shop and asked if it was possible to fix. My husband turned his back for a matter of seconds and the lady had whipped out the hair braid completely leaving a hideous bald patch. My daughter sat there quietly with tears in her eyes as she is not the type to cry out - (she is 10) but said later it was agony and the woman told her to be quiet.

I was very upset and asked her why she had done this and she blatantly lied, saying it was my daughter's hair that was the problem and that the braid had been somewhere else in her hair even as I was showing her the pulled out braid with her hair sticking out the top, clearly ripped out by the root! It must have been agony and another woman and her two daughters also witnessed this and were appalled. Incidentally, the witness had a problem with payment and were chased half way along the pinewalk accused of not paying. On returning to the shop, the woman thought there was some sort of payment scam going on in the back of the shop and left, adamant she would not be returning ever again.

Please beware of this and if you do go there, which I would strongly advise you not to, then keep a watch at all times.

What a dreadful thing to happen, I am so sorry for your daughter and for you as parents. It just goes to solidify the idea that we should stay away from hair braids and tatoos.
