Default Sunday shopping

We arrive on Puerto Pollensa on Sunday 18th July and wondered if the supermarkets will be open in the afternoon or early evening. We are staying at the back of the Miramar Hotel so would appreciate information on which would be the closest to our apartment (no car) so we can buy in essentials for breakfast etc. Thanks

There is a Spar on the corner which is ok for basic emergencies but i warn you it isn't cheap in fact they mark up the papers by 10cents which i have been told is illegal .

There is also the Vora Mar supermarket (about 3 minutes walk) accessed from either the Formentor Road or Pinewalk. Again it is not cheap but it does sell nice fresh bread and croissants. Should do the trick for the first night.
