Default Iva

Can anyone please advise me of the rate of IVA charged at present? I understand that it has increased this year already and is about to do so again. Is this correct? Thanks.

IVA is to be increased from July 1st 2010.
The standard rate will go up from 16% to 18%.
The reduced rate will go up from 7% to 8%.

Ooh - your money will go further in PP then when the rate in the UK goes to 20% (possibly)

Curious though why the current rate matters?
