Supermarket prices can be very high and of course you can't get a lot of the brands that are freely available in the UK but i find the different brands they sell here are every bit as good. Schlecker are very good for toiletries and cleaning products.

Eroski are selling :-
Licor Polo Toothpaste 75ml = 1.45
Timotei shampoo 400ml = 2.55
Fa shower gel 650ml = 1.90
Fa deodorant spray 200ml = 2.55

Schlecker are selling :-
Colgate toothpaste 2x75ml = 2.98
Own brand toothpaste 75ml = 89c
Own brand roll-on deodorant 50ml = 99c
Shower gel many brands 650ml prices starting from = 1.29
Shampoo many brands 650ml prices starting from 99c
Thanks Sparky, I'm sure a lot of people will find this thread very useful. Whereabouts is Schlecker? How do you find the chinese shops compare on the prices of toiletries?

Great work Sparky, thanks for all your efforts, I know you are teetotal, but what about posting some drinks prices as well, beer wine etc, might help people budget? xx

Thanks mate, we don't drink in the house so don't buy booze and i have family due over tomorrow so i will do it when they go back but please don't expect me to start quoting bus/taxi fares, tobacco, perfume, aftershave and laundry prices etc etc etc.

Sparky - are you skulking round the supermarket shelves with a notebook and pencil furiously scribbling prices down for us whilst your OH does the shopping?

Or do you have a secret google site or two!? You will have to start having a Sparky approved weekly sticker - that will make the shops take notice!
