Default Buying olives in the UK

Hi everyone,
does anybody know where I can get a supply of the olives tinged with anchovy, which are available from all shops, markets and supermarkets in PP, but in the UK.
I have searched high and low at all the biggies (Tesco,Morrison,Asda,Sainsbury,Aldi and Lidl even - I thought that they would be my best bet) all to no avail.
I have trawled the internet, with the same result.
Surely there must be a shop somewhere that does them??

Hi stev 1em!

You can get them in Tesco. They are called Fragata Olives Stuffed With Anchovy. Sold in little tins like the ones in PP

Both posters who can get them are in London and SE England so not all Waitrose or Tescos will stock them, why not check their web sites

Hi,
our local Tesco here in Co Tyrone stocks the Fragata olives in the tins with anchovy and it is quite a small store , so good luck with your search, they are delicious. Also a good privately owned deli should have something similar.

Our local farmers market has an olive stall that is very reminiscent of the PP markets ones. They sell a wide variety although I have never had olives stuffed with anchovies as it would be my idea of food hell

Thanks for the replies all.
I have actually picked up a tin of the olives from Tesco last week but haven't tried them just yet.
I thought that they were stuffed with the anchovy and not marinaded, I was thinking of combining them with some plain olives off the deli counter as an experiment!
I am going to see if their is a Waitrose in my area (Coventry) since it sounds like they do the ones I'm after.
Eroski have them on their website but I don't think that their home delivery service stretches to the middle of Blighty !!!
