Default English bookshop

Hi

Just wondered if there are any english bookshops (new or secondhand) in PP. I'll be there on holiday next week and would prefer to buy locally

Thanks
Helen

Default charity shops

The charity shops in PP are often worth checking out for second hand books. The Sally Army and a childrens charity shop are both relatively near to the square and about a minutes walk from each other.

Hiya Helen,

Also some of the Hotels have swap thing going. Some of the bars and cafes have the same thing, so just keep an eye open

Miriam, as you say, the hotels usually have a swap area and I think you will find most apartments and villas do to, and quite a few of them are bang up to date as most people cant be bothered to take a book back home and waste luggage space if they have finished it. It always surprises me going back to the apartment and seeing what books have gone and what has taken their place! Strangely, no one seems to replace the cd's though!

Hi All

Fantastic -thank you for that - will certainly check out the charity shops. We're staying in an apartment so hopefully might even find some there.

Cheers, and looking forward to some quality lounging on the beach with a good book!
Helen
