Default Spa supermarket

Hi
Staying at the Las Golondrinas Apartments in Gommar Area in August. Understand there is a spa supermarket very nearby. Is it very much like the spas we get at home in England. Also does anyone know whether it opens on a Sunday? Also like some supermarkets we get in England is there anywhere you can purchase a cooked chicken etc xx

The Spar sells everything you need, but it is very expensive. If you have a car, head to Eroski where ever possible. If walking it would only be a 10 minute walk. What is cheap is the local restaurant (called Aries I think?) right next door to the Spar.

That's right Mark - the Spar is expensive compared to the large supermarkets but is great for thwe little things you run out of like milk (check the dates). They are really good for early morning croissants and bread for lunch if you are making up ma picnic.

Aries is a great little bar. Good basic food at good prices and they also do takeaway roast chickens (at least they used to)

Have a good one

GG

Default Spa supermarket

Hi there,

We often visit our villa very close to the Spa supermarket which is great for emergencies or one offs etc.

I would recommend you continue down the road towards the town and purchase your items in euroski (not sure of the spelling!) It is on the left hand side just before you reach the town. You will have a good selection of items to purchase and it is cheaper!

Regards, Eleanor

Default Eroski supermarket

Sorry I forgot to say that Eroski is open for limited hours on Sunday.
