Arriving on a Sunday - Supermarkets

Hi all,

I'll be landing at Palma on a Sunday around 3pm and was looking for any advice as to where to head to pick up a few essentials to stock up the villa for the first night - either on the way from the airport or around the Pollensa/Alcudia areas.

Thanks

Hi holsinmall, welcome to the forum.
El Campo is off the motorway just outside Palma. It's well sign posted you can't miss it, they have a huge selection of everything and they are cheaper than local supermarkets:).

Hi, Unless it changes nearer the summer season El Campo is closed on Sunday afternoons, went past this Sunday at 2.30pm and it was completely dead not a car in the car park. The major supermarkets also close at 2pm on a Sunday, smaller supermarkets in Puerto Pollensa open though. A little bit more expensive but okay for essentials.

I think I made a mistake on previous post Eroski closes at 2.30 pm on Sundays still till early for holsinmall though.

That's the Voramar. Last time I asked they said they are open 'till 8pm on Sundays.
