Default Arriving on a Sunday - Supermarkets

Hi all,

I'll be landing at Palma on a Sunday around 3pm and was looking for any advice as to where to head to pick up a few essentials to stock up the villa for the first night - either on the way from the airport or around the Pollensa/Alcudia areas.

Thanks

Hi holsinmall, welcome to the forum.
El Campo is off the motorway just outside Palma. It's well sign posted you can't miss it, they have a huge selection of everything and they are cheaper than local supermarkets.

Hi, Unless it changes nearer the summer season El Campo is closed on Sunday afternoons, went past this Sunday at 2.30pm and it was completely dead not a car in the car park. The major supermarkets also close at 2pm on a Sunday, smaller supermarkets in Puerto Pollensa open though. A little bit more expensive but okay for essentials.
