Post New Oven

I think we need to replace our oven in our apartment. Which is the best shop to get one from - local or Al Campo? And can I get one "off the shelf" or do we have to order and wait? Hubby is able to fit in himself, he says, as its a fairly new apartment and electrics are understandable! Thanks.

Seriously 'tho I would definitely go to Confort. Service and speed of delivery (same day if in stock) is excellent.

Hi Bella,
Just echoing what Debz said in her post, we too can highly recommend Confort.
We have bought all our electrical goods there, including an electric oven and a gas hob.
Miguel and his staff all speak excellent English. Their service is superb.
Remember, shop locally - they are always there on the spot!

Thumbs up

Thanks, will take your advice. We usually get our electirical bits from Al Campo or Leroys and havent used Confort at all. I know its extremely popular but - and I have to admit this shamefacedly - I cant think where it is!

Found Confort all on our own and ordered the knobs rather than a complete new cooker. They werent in before we left though and they have now left a message for us to collect them. We had asked them to hold them for us and Im sure they will. Does anyone know if they are open all year ie in January? There may be a possiblity that we could pop over for a couple of days. If not, I may give them a ring to make sure they hold them until March.
