Default supermarkets

Can anyone tell me which is the best stocked supermarket ,Caprabo or the Eroski on the way to Pollenca, also which is best for fresh fish and the best wine selection.

Thanks !

Mark

Caprabo is now Euroski...shopped there several times last week.Well stocked fresh meat, fish etc although service a tad slow.

Fruit and veg was reasonably well stocked too

I'd certainly agree that the former Caprabo is generally better stocked than the Eronski towards the old town, though actually I prefer the latter as it's generally quieter and the staff seem more friendly.

It's good to be able to park in the cool basement of both these supermarkets.

I too prefer the Euroski in the town (near the marina) but there i no longer a fresh meat/deli section there any longer...only prepacked chicken/chops etc..In saying that though we had a good deal on chicken breasts and pork chops and last week bought a whole large fresh chicken for 3.40...it was very tasty too

Default caprabo

We were unfortunate to hit Caprabo just as the changeover began ,but within a few days the whole place was tranformed to better than its former glory. Fantastic fresh fish and meat and the veg couner well stocked. Must admit that there is no substitute for the fresh veg at the market, great value and radishes like we have never seen before. We shopped between the Wednesday market and Caprabo for three months and were never dissapointed.
