Default ATM's and cash withdrawal

I am due to visit Puerto Pollensa for two weeks in September.

Whenever myself and my family travel abroad (any country) we only take a small amount of cash and withdraw more as needed, we are not concerned about banks charges however can anyone tell me how many cashpoints are available and how easy they are to use we are staying by the pine walk?

Thanks Lilos.

hi Lilos,

welcome to the forum. There are several cashpoints around so you will have no problem. Just look out for banks along Formentor Road & the main road Juan XXIII.

They normally have an option to change the language to English.

Can't wait now only 2 wks Saturday! Puerto Pollensa sounds beautiful and hopefully the weather will still be great for relaxing and enjoying a bit of sun (inlike the UK!)

Smile Taking money abroad

We usually go to Tenerife and I would take some Euros to see me through the first few days and then change my English money at the exchange bureaus with no commision to pay. Do the bureas do the same in PP or will I have to take travellers cheques or use ATMs
Cheers

It's the same in PP, but you get a slightly higher rate for travellers cheques. Also not all bureaus are commission free, so best to check first.
