Default Birthday Cakes

Hi,

We will have a birthday the day after we arrive and would like a cake for it. I managed to get a cake a couple of years ago but we were there a week before the day so were able to order it while there from the bakers. Does anyone know how I could get a cake ordered in advance or thinking about it do they sell them ready made in the big supermarket?

Thanks.

if it is like Ibiza, and the supermarkets seem to be part of the same chain, They sell large cakes and gateaux near the bakery sections in most of them .Hope this has helped.

Default birthday cakes

To have a cake specially made, bakeries need a couple of day's notice. But most bakeries have cakes in stock to which they can add candles with the requisite numbers on.
The local Puerto Pollensa supermarkets may have gateaux in stock but not the the wide range you may be used to seeing in the UK.
It would be worth going to a bakery when you arrive and see what they can do for the following day, it may all depend on how much work they have on.
Good luck
