Default Supermarkets open late?? Help!

Hello,
We have just got our flight times and found with horror that the flight doesn't get in to Palma until 10.10pm!

We are thinking of driving to Puerto Pollensa (hope it's a good route!) but worried that shops will be closed by the time we get there. We're renting a private apartment and the Spanish owner doesn't seem to do welcome packs. We'll just need the essentials until the morning...! Help!

There is a place round the corner from Hostal Eolo on Avenida de Joan XX111 that is open late. Don't know the name of it...I've always referred to it as Arkwrights as it appears to be "open all hours"! Sells all the basics groceries downstairs and lots of wine upstairs.

Google Earth coordinates are approximately:
39 54' 22.51, 3 04' 56.41 (copy & paste into search bar in Google Earth)

Some other members may know of additional places that are open late in the Port, or on the way to the Port from PMI.

Should also have pointed out that it is in cell F6 of the PP Central Map:

Hello womblemonty (!)

To be on the safe side it might be a good idea to carry some essentials with you. If your flight is delayed you may not get to the shops in time, and don't forget it's about an hour's drive to PP plus the usual delays going through passports/luggage reclaim, etc.

You don't say what time of the year or what day you are arriving but if it's high season you may be able to find restaurants still open for a late meal.

Have a good trip!

Which month do you arrive? There are 24hr petrol stations open which are on your way (or in Alcudia if little detour) but best to bring a few essentials, apart from the bars almost everything closed after 11pm

Thanks for your replies everyone.
Quelys, we go in June. I hadn't thought about the petrol stations! Glad they are open 24 hours!

We normally take tea/coffee with us if arriving late and then as Quelys said just stop for water /milk at a garage on route to PP.

In June you will find everything up and running and if you were starving and fancied a meal Bar Naciente is always open very late (1.30 am'ish ) as lots of locals go when they've finished work. Lovely garden setting and reasonable local dishes, and pasta and pizza too!

If it's too late to go out a big bag of kettle crisps normally gets me through till morning!!
