Hi fizzy - we tend to use caprabo or syp but there is a butcher in the side street as you go past Caprabo heading into the port. It is the turning on the left after the boat chandlers with the digital temp gauge but I think you now have to approach it from the bypass side. can't remember the name but it begins with an E!!!

There's a butcher (I think!) on the main road as you go down towards the Marina from Caprabo, on the left hand side, in a rather old nice looking villa. There's also (definitely!) a fishmonger on Vincenc Buades, coming from the police station towards the Hipermercardo, on the left. Haven't tried them yet (not too confident with my Spansh yet) but do intend to.

There's also a fish-monger next to Can Ferrer (little people restaurant). They opened it one night & tried to catch a lobster running over the floor - presumably to fulfill an order!

I think that butcher's (Ensenyat or similar name) has moved to Pollensa town, don't think there is one in the Port anymore. But if anyone does know of one please let us all know!

There used to be a fantastic butchers opposite MIR (chuckles). The EOLO used to get their sirloin steaks from him. Whenever we went in, he would always give us some eggs for free. Unfortunatly the landlord wanted to increase the lease and so he retired.
Ensenat in Pollensa is very good, but they thought it very odd that I wanted my leg of pork with the skin left on (crackling). "Come back this afternoon, I'll have one for you" he said. And he did!!:b
