Default Digital Camera to CD

Hi......

Is there anywhere in PP where I could get my digital images transferred from memory card to CD?
I'm out soon, and bringing the camera, and would hate to run out of memory cards

There's a shop on the main road as you go up from the roundabout, on the right, before you reach the Farmacia. It sells various digital items and has an enormous copier etc to print photos. They may do it, but I can't be certain.

Terry,

We ran out on holiday (80 photos - who would think it eh?) so we bought another camera card (SD) from a shop near the marina (near Tots if I remember) and it only cost 20 euro for 1gb.

I thought very cheap at the time but since I have been home I have noticed how cheap these things have become - even Tesco is selling them! In fact you can buy a 2gb from Argos for £30! Even at 6 megapixels that's around 600 photos! :eek Even David bailley couldn't take that many pictures!:lol

Less hassle than trying to upload them - although if you'd prefer to do this maybe you could load them onto Flickr at an internet cafe then wipe the card? :rolleyes

Best idea by far buy a large card or 2 or 3 smaller ones I find it best to to have to many on a card if card goes wrong you can lose to many snaps.

Happy snapping

I had bought a new camera before the hols this year..one of the tips it gave was to change the settings/size of the pics. mine said email/web size( but my other camera gives dimensions 640x480)...Most people will probably already know this but then again I am not very techinical and it was a revelation...no wonder I wasnt getting very many pics on my old camera/card...have changed that one too :\

I suppose it depends what you want to do with your photos later. If you just want to download onto your PC and look at them occasionally, the smaller the better, and then you can take loads. But if you want high quality photos that you intend to print then its best to keep the pixels high.

Wow! That was technical, for me! :eek

Hi,
Bruixola (think that's how it's spelt) on c/Juan XXIII (next to Movistar shop and Eroski supermarket) has one of those machines like in Boots in the UK which allows you to print out your photos or save them from your memory card onto a CD. There is another machine in Millar electrical shop opposite Hipercentro supermarket.
