Default Birthday Cakes

Leading on from Pescaditos for my kids birthdays, is there anywhere that does birthday cakes in PP. We are thinking of holding a joint party for the laddies and thought it would be nice to have a special cake made for them? Something deep in the recesses of my mind suggests there is/ was a place that does this in PP or was it Alcudia?

Mark,

On the advice of Frito's post I ordered a birthday cake for hubby's 40th from Las Delicias, Roger de Flor 55 - round by the post office heading in the direction of the Illa D'Or.

Ordered one day - ready the next - picked it up at 8 am. It was delicious and they had lots of choice - sizes/ flavours etc. I went for chocolate and cream. They iced it with my own message and were going to give me candles but I had my own.

They were just lovely staff. VERY good value too. Highly recommended.

Lala

Oh and their pastries were fab too.

Where is it exactly, behind the church? We use a great jewellers on Roger De Flor, hand made a couple of rings for Mrs Mark1875.

Hi Mark,
Las Delicias is at the far end of Roger de Flor, past the car park on the Left. You can usually find somewhere to park in Mendez Nunez near the British Food Shop and walk roune the corner.
Hope this helps.

Caketastic! I showed my boys, they both want one! That was after they had stopped laughing as they call their Grandad Dodey and he wont see 40 again!! I am assuming your man is Dod in the Scots way

LOL Mark!

Yep - it's George - Dod in Scots and so Dodey is my pet name for him! They weren't fazed at all in the bakers - could have had "Brad Pitt" iced and they wouldn't have blinked. Hmmm Chocolate icing and Brad Pitt...oops mind wandered there!

Default Birthday Cakes

It was my friend's birthday last Monday and we ordered a cake from Las Delicias. Called in on the previous Friday and ordered a medium sized chocolate and cream combo. We had a personal message iced on and some number candles and it cost 10.55 euro. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommended if you're lucky enough to have an excuse.

I done the very same a few days later, told me it would be 10.55 euro which was fine. When I went to collect it, they charged me 14 euros and looked blankly when I complained. Cake was nice though.

Pick up a copy of the Holiday Handbook, where you will find an advert for Sugar Mallorca, page 21, Anna makes birthday cakes to order.
Hope this helps.
