Default Bakery?

Morning all,

A special request from my worldly 8 year old is fresh croissants for breakfast!!

Anyone know if there is a bakery / similar that would do that sort of thing to take away?

We haven't been for 3 years and are staying this year very close to the square, the previous place we used a few times closed a few years ago on Carrer de Formentor, but no doubt things have moved on somewhat!

Thanks in advance all, and I bow to your more up to date local knowledge!

The only functioning bakery that I know of in Puerto Pollensa is the one next door to Can Ferra restaurant, on the side street leading off from Carrer Joan XXIII

Forgive my lack of street names but if you head up the road leading from the square next to the school there is a bakery/shop 400 metres on the left. all sorts of pastries etc

Lidl (on the Pollensa road) have their own in store bakery, they sell fresh croissants which are being made all day. 2 types, either made with butter or margarine.

I have seen that and the stuff they sell looks quite good.

Also the Bisanyes bakery, on Joan XXIII, in between the petrol station ( same side ) and La Parra.

Bisanyes is very good. Went there in June. The Hyper Centro bakery is also really good too.

Let's try and support local businesses in Pollensa where possible rather than Lidl!!

Payeras, just off Carrer de Sant Joan, on the corner of Carrer de la Verge del Carma (same street as Can Panxo) and Carrer de Sant Pere (same street as Bodega Can Ferra).

We got croissants and fresh bread every morning from them last year; were staying just across the square in Mendez Nunez.
