Default Knitting needles...

Hi all ,this year my wife has started to knit , we're popping over next week but only bringing hand luggage so she can't put her needles in the cabin, so..

Does anyone know if there's a shop in the port that sells knitting needles , wool etc...

Thanks in advance .

I am fairly sure you will get some yarn and needles at the Chinese shop up near the Hiper supermarket. I am not entirely sure where it is as we tend to wander and stumble across it. I will look it up on the map and edit this post. I am also not able to testify if the yarn is wool but you will be able to knit with it.

Yep it's on the corner of Calle Xaloc and Roger de Flor and is called Super Bazar Li Ling. It sells the most amazing array.

Have you checked with the airline as my work colleague was allowed to bring knitting needles on to a long haul flight last year. She was also allowed to bring scissors as long as the blades were under a certain length. Not sure which airline though.
