Default Beach towel

Can anyone suggest a good place to buy a cheap beach towel needed for one of our sons who is coming for a few days and can't squeeze one in his hand luggage?

There are several places on the front bewtween La Gola and the marina - including the indian/ chinese shops that sell towels..they vary from about 5€ for a smaller bath towel size ( very thin and lightweight) to bigger bath sheet size about 10-12€

We got some very cheap ones in Alcampo one year - so cheap I thought they would fall apart after one wash - more than five years later they are still going strong. Obviously you'd need to make a trip all the way to Alcampo though so would need a car!

You could also try the Allen Graham charity shop on C/Metge Llopis (or C/Medico Lopis) - just off the square.

We use them to save carrying in the luggage. Got a great one for 3 euros last year - and gave it back before we left....
