Unhomogenised milk? Organic would be nice....
 

Hi Everyone,

Coming to PP for the second time, hurray!!!

Can anyone suggest where I could buy unhomogenised milk, preferably organic and raw? Maybe some farms around PP?

Also, any suggestions for an organic food shop? We couldn't find any the last time we were there (2012), but maybe some place have opened since....

Milk tends to come from other islands in boxes!! :eek:

If you are lucky you might find "English" Full, Semi, Skimmed in Eroski or Lidl. ;)

I'd bring a cow with you in your hand luggage....they are a novelty in Majorca!!:cool:

Check the website mistereco it delivers organic produce in mallorca and it stocks puleva ( not sure of the spelling ) organic milk. There's an email contact on the page so maybe email to arrange an order before you go :)

There is a wonderful shop called Biobotiga in the main street (Joan XXIII) in Puerto Pollensa and they stock all sorts of wonderful organic food, including fresh fruit & veg and also larder essentials.

Also, if you are planning to eat out, the Bellaverde Restaurant in the Hostal Bellavista (in Carrer des Monges) serves organic, vegetarian and vegan food. It's a wonderful place to sit under the gorgeous fig trees and enjoy either a meal or a snack and a drink.

And I remember Bellaverde very well, we visited based on the the listing I found on this site and we absolutely loved it!

Although from the pictures I saw they seem to have removed the lovely hammocks?

Anyway, we will definitely go back there and a lot of other places we discovered last time....
