When I last enquired (over a year ago) Mr Vall was still around but in continuing blissful retirement.
His family still run the Vall's ice cream stall near the marina roundabout at the end of the Pine Walk.
Mr Vall is remembered by many families who holidayed in the resort over many years. He will be especially remembered for his vibrant personality and his motorised 'ice cream' tricycle along with the call 'Helado'..... 'Helado'..... as he drove along the Pine Walk and onwards up towards the I'll a D'Or.
By the way, Vall's ice cream is still as good as ever, so give yourself a treat and buy one the next time you are in PP.

Seņor Vall was sitting on the next table to us in Marina a few months ago. We said hello to him and asked him how he was. He looked very well and is obviously enjoying his retirement

He has a place in Port Alcudia called Quick Takeaway which sells snacks as well. I can confirm their ice cream is the very best!
