Marabans Coffee
We love Marabans coffee which we drink in many places. I know it is made in Santa Margalida, but does anyone know where we can buy it locally?

Am afraid I don't know where you can buy it but I know that my husband seeks out cafes that still offer it as quite a few have changed over to 'Tiempo' (?) which he doesn't like. I likn that the Illa d'Or hotels & maybe Cafe 1919 etc. still have it but we can only tell by the coffee cups!
I got the impression that it was provided by a distributor. I don't think I've seen it sold in shops. Maybe you could ask your favourite cafe? |
I suggest you send them an email through their website to find out if it is available retail

I think La Lonja and Stay use Marabans.
I agree it's good coffee. |
For those lovers of this coffee, I have established that the only place you can buy it is at their outlet in Santa Margalida. It is about €18 per kilo in bean form.
For us it is well worth the visit. |
It sounds as though I am bit of a nutter about coffee but we do love the Marabans stuff. Today we went to their shop in Santa Margalida and bought some beans at €17 per kilo packed in 1 kg bags. One advantage of this coffee is that it can be taken straight from the freezer to the grinder. The shop is very easy to find. in Carrier Miguel Ordins (No 20) which is the first road on the left as you approach the town from the direction of Cala Picafort. It is a quiet street where you can park outside.
It is the only outlet in Mallorca. |
