I believe that Sky "paid for" channels are broadcast on a European beam, not the beam focused just over the UK. :cool:

We lost all the channel 5's when they shifted to the temporary satellite, so expect to lose all the others when they move to the new one. :(

I was under the impression that the viewing card...

I was under the impression that the viewing card had to be married to the box, needing a call to sky to send a signal to activate it.
