Default Katy apartment

If it's the one I am thinking of, Katy apartment is one building away from where the building work has been happening.

At the last count, there was a suggestion that the developer may have been doing the heavy ground work without the necessary permissions but that is all being looked at carefully now by the Council Offices.

Hopefully all the heavy stuff has been completed now.

I'm pretty sure that no major building work can be done in the summer months in Mallorca, that's by law, due to the tourist season so anything major should have been completed by May at the latest?

Yes you are correct, work has to stop between May and October however Marilyn's daughter is booked for March so work could still be ongoing .

Some news from the DDM, translated by Google here :- Costas ejecuta obras urgentes de reparación del paseo Anglada Camarasa, en primera línea del Moll - Diario de Mallorca.

Costas run urgent repair works Anglada Camarasa walk, in front of Moll.

The Costas have begun a series of urgent works on the promenade Anglada Camarasa Port Pollença, in front of the coastal village. The work was carried out after several months the City 'pollencí' denounce the state of degradation of the first line of Moll, badly damaged in the wake of several storms.
The works were visited yesterday by the head of the Coastal, Juan Carlos Plaza, along with the mayor of Pollença, Tomeu Encrypt (PP) and the Councillor for Tourism and Environment, Maria Buades. The work, carried out by the public company Tragsa, will focus on repairing the damage caused by recent storms "as a first action before the tourist season."
In this sense, the mayor yesterday Encrypt positively assessed the "cooperative spirit" of the Costas, that "despite severe budgetary constraints to which it is subject, has sought the formula to allocate resources and implement this first performance" .
The Town Hall Square took the visit to "seek greater involvement" of demarcation regarding future investments in the municipality, a petition the Costas "study".

Yes Lorenzo, i was really pleased when i read this report. The Pine Walk is such an important element in what makes PP a beautiful place to be and it is inconceivable that the Costas/council could allow it to fall into disrepair. Thank god they have found the funds to repair the damage .

To me it would be near suicidal not to find funds to do this repair.

Hi Laura and welcome to the forum. I think it means all the trees that had been blown down have now been cleared from the site .

No Laura, it means the ones that had fallen over and were lying on the path have gone, other than the few that had come down the rest are fine and new ones are being planted too, so don't worry!
Whoops.. was there any more damage in the bad weather last week?
