Inserting Images as Attachments??
I'm wanting to attach an image directly into my post, why do I not see the 'manage attachments' option under the message box (as mentioned in the FAQ)?

Reading the FAQ re posting attachments as files or images it should be quite simple to post direct from your PC but it would appear that this facility is not available. It also mentions creating Albums which also doesn't seem to be enabled, shame really as we could all have so much fun with these links.
I've tried to insert images using my Flickr account and the insert image button before but not been successful, seems quite complicated.

Its not too bad, I do it from flickr, try copying the link for your photo, if you look abaove your pic you will see share, click on that and you will see the option to Copy and paste the code below in HTML, just copy that into your next post so I can see that.

I'm afraid that we don't permit adding attachments or images from your PC as this would mean that images are stored on our servers and we have a limit on storage but more importantly 'bandwidth' i.e. whenever anyone views the image it takes up bandwidth. In busy months we get very close to our bandwidth limit just with people visiting the forum and reading the posts.
The flickR option seems to work well and if you need help with that do ask - see http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...-new-foum.html

Well done & a beautiful photo.
Yes please do use BBCode. We don't allow html in the forum as this is discouraged by vBulletin (the forum software) for security reasons - as it's quite easy for spammers & hackers to insert 'malicious' code into forum posts.
I realise it is a bit of a pain to use but once you get the hang of it, it seems to work well & we've had some wonderful photos on the forum recently. Thanks to you all!
