Does anybody know of sites where you can download/purchase old photos of pp?

There's a photographic shop in Pollensa old town, Arxiu Bestard, that has postcards outside for sale, but have the pictures on a database and can make prints for you. I have bought several and have had them framed in the UK.

If you go into the bar at the Hotel Daina you can see many of them. I asked a barman there, a couple of years ago, where they came from and was directed to this shop.

The shop also produced the huge black and white picture of the port that hangs in Brisa Marina.

I did a quick search in google for Arxiu Bestard + Pollensa and up came a link showing some amazing photos of snow in the Balearics (Arxiu Bestard was a contributor).

I don't know of a website, I just visited the shop on spec.

I have since bought other photos as postcards (many of the shops on the seafront in PP sell them) and have had a very successful result having them scanned and enlarged professionally at a local photgraphic shop. And at a fraction of the cost in Pollensa. The quality is not quite the same, but in a frame in a corridor you'd never notice.

There is one on the third page of that site showing PP in the snow. Anybody any idea how you could about getting a print of this photo?

Edit to say that ebay has a photo of The Uyal before the beach was there. £1.95.

Rab, i think there is a gallery in one of the back streets in the Port of Pollensa il find out for sure and let you know. They may have closed last year.
