Default Memories of the 2012 season in PP.

Well my friends that's another summer season over, the beach has been cleared of brollies and beds, Sail and Surf have taken away all there storage boxes and businesses are closing up.

What are your favourite or worse memories of your visits this year?, do let us know, it might help to make the winter seem shorter .

Sparky, it has been a long hot summer . For me its seeing new businesses that opened and old ones thrive . Long may it continue. Still no regrets of our move now 5 years ago.

For me it was the saving grace of two gloriously sunny hot summer weeks in August .... as opposed to the last what seems like 12 months of solid bloomin rain!!! And cold... and wind.... need I go on :-(
Roll on next summer and our return to Pollensa yea...

Sunshine every day and I personally feel there is no better view lying on the beach there and the sea is lovely safe and shallow

Just also the general atmosphere of the place so relaxing

back to 'usual' weather this year, just the laid back atmosphere & friendly welcome everywhere, home from home where you don't have to waste any time checking out where everything is

roll on May....

Fabulous weather for both visits this year.

Both the Port and town were busy and buzzy during both vists which was great to see after a couple of quieter visits in previous years.

We got to eat at Citrus which has now become a firm favourite.

Hopefully will be back at 'our' apartment in May if it hasn't been sold, otherwise we will be searching for a new place to stay but most definately in PP as it has captured our hearts .

Our stay at the Daina in May, only to find the baldy guy on the sun bed next to mine after lunch was the guy we had met there the September before. Amazing. Also our visit toTiberi and the generosity of the owners. Most of all the very kind and honest person that handed in my Wifes purse to Daina receptionwhen she thought she had lost it with all her cards and cash. Thanks whoever you are. Its just that sort of place. Off on a cruise next week, but we will be back in PP next May all being well. See you all then.
Good Luck

2012 is the year that we both came to the conclusion that PP is the place that we want to spend the rest of our lives. Our house in the UK is now on the market.

What a way to start the 2012 holiday..... spending the first evening at Ca'n Moixet, in the old town, watching Spain win the Euros! What an atmosphere!
