Jack Frost

Hi Sparky

Now that the weather is getting cooler and Autumn/winter quite near, I thought you might like me to share another poem with you called Jack Frost.


They say Jack Frost is coming,
he's coming here tonight,
He'll spread his spiky fingers,
and turn everything to white,

The windows and the rooftops,
will sparkle bright and clear,
the trees take on an overcoat,
of cotton wool, I fear.

The slippery pavements underfoot,
a hazard for the old,
The dazzling masquerade of ice,
the biting wind and cold.

Blue skies are often present,
when Jack Frosts work is through,
The sun comes out enchantingly,
and warms the day on cue.

Very good Val thankfully i don't have to worry about frosty nights here in the Port , although it does look very pretty in pictures .
