Default Great Visit

Had a great visit at the end of June beginning of July and thought the Port looked great and very busy

Delighted to see the sunbeds in place Snored happily on them in the afternoons !

Did seem more people useing their own umbrellas and chairs this year

Loved the wider pavements so much easier walking along the front to the town and remember trying to walk up past the Uyal was impossible with all the broken pavements At first couldnt see all the broken paving people were filming but as it got hotter saw the small dimple slabs were rising in the air ! Repairs need to be done but great overall I actually like the concrete as when we had a showery morning very safe to walk on unlike a marble step into a shop that my husband slipped on !

The one way is good but think needs more no entry signs as we saw several cars come out of a side road and go the wrong way but luckily no accidents

People in restaurants and shops are as friendly as ever Lunch is a bottle of wine and baguette and cherries sat on the balcony looking out to sea so cant do lovely pictures of that Im afraid ! Restaurants tried a few new ones Zarzales loved that and preferred their suckling pig ( so thanks to who recommended it )- El Castinet very friendly Best alioli a Seafood Paella Very tasty but could have had more seafood in it- EL Bistro Sail and Surf Best Lasagne ever Owner Italian so that explained it and great salads- Tried the one next door forget the name and that was good- Brisa Marina we havent been to for a while Great Fish -La Llonja V good but not up to Stay still -Had 2 great meals in Stay Drinks in Sea Bar Lovely place to sit but drinks very weak compared to Bonys !

Normal good music The Hustlers -Derek Holt -Guillermo all over the place ! John Lynam Nice relaxong music in The Lemon Lounge

A really great visit Over in September again in a different apartment and already booke 2 visits for next year

Thanks for all the information everyone adds throughout the year reallly makes a difference

Great post and so glad you had a good visit, with more trips already booked. Excellent!

Glad you enjoyed the Suckling Pig at Zarzales.....think I was one of those who recommended it.

Our next visit is in August and, I suspect with so many people deserting Tunisia, Egypt etc in favour of Spain it may be that PP will be busier than we've ever seen it. Already got plenty of telephone numbers for favourite restaurants in the phone to book ahead. Even booked Brisa Marina (as always) for our very first night.

Count the days until your next trip!
